We started our business in 2020, after noticing a gap in the market for high-quality bathroom renovations in Newcastle. Jake, who has been working in the plumbing industry since he was 17, wanted to create a company that could deliver exceptional results and bring joy to homeowners. He also wanted to use his skills and creativity to turn old things and spaces into new ones, and to build lasting relationships with his clients.

Understanding the value of in-depth industry knowledge, he had been eager to further his studies but was waiting for the right opportunity. Then, an unexpected leg injury just before the first COVID-19 lockdown turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Confined at home during his recovery, he seized the chance to pursue and complete a Cert IV in Plumbing. With determination and resilience, he completed his first job as The Plumbing Improvement Company at the age of 27.

However, he soon realised that plumbing alone would not fulfil all of his aspirations. Driven to expand his horizons into bathroom renovations, he pursued and obtained certification in Kitchen, Bathroom & Laundry Renovations. This marked the birth of Bathroom & Plumbing Improvements, a company dedicated to breathing new life into spaces and delivering quality renovation solutions.
